• Full name of the staff member / employee
• Employee ID, designation, and professional contact details
• Assigned academic records (class, section, and subject lists)
• Staff profile photo (uploaded voluntarily by the user)
• Device FCM token for push notification delivery
• App session data and crash logs for performance improvement

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the Service effectively and facilitate school administration. We do not collect any data beyond what is required for the stated purposes.

Key facts about our photo access:

• Photos are accessed only when the user explicitly selects an image using the device's system photo picker.
• We do not scan, browse, or access any other media files on your device.
• We do not access video or audio files at any time.
• No persistent or background access to your photo library or camera roll is performed.
• The selected content is uploaded securely and used only for its intended purpose within the school ERP system.
• Profile photos are visible only to authorized users within the Teacher Portal.

The Teacher Portal uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver important school notifications — such as circulars, announcements, and administrative alerts — directly to your device.

• Your device FCM token is securely sent to our school server upon login to enable notification delivery.
• Notifications are sent only by authorized school administrators — never by third parties.
• You may disable push notifications at any time through your device's system notification settings.
• Upon logout, your FCM token is removed from our server to prevent further notifications.

Information collected is used exclusively for educational and administrative purposes within Mahar Children Academy:

• Authenticate and display your professional profile within the Teacher Portal
• Facilitate academic collaboration between school management, teachers, parents, and students
• Enable uploading and sharing of homework, assignments, marks, attendance, and circulars
• Deliver push notifications about school updates and announcements
• Manage student attendance records, examination marks, and fee information
• Improve app performance and fix technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

We take data security seriously. Your information is stored using commercially acceptable security standards, including:

• All data transmitted between the app and our server is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• User authentication is token-based (access tokens) stored securely in device-level encrypted storage.
• No sensitive credentials such as passwords are stored in plain text on the device or server.
• Institutional records are stored on secure servers accessible only to authorized Mahar Children Academy personnel.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your login credentials confidential and log out when finished.

Our app uses the following trusted third-party services, which may collect limited diagnostic or usage data under their own Privacy Policies:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — for push notifications

We do not integrate any advertising networks, user-tracking platforms, or social media SDKs. We encourage users to review the Privacy Policies of these third-party services independently.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and you remain an authorized staff member of Mahar Children Academy, or as required by applicable laws.

• Employee profile data is retained for the duration of employment and for a legally required period thereafter.
• Academic records (marks, attendance, assignments) are retained as per school administrative and regulatory requirements.
• FCM notification tokens are deleted from our server upon logout or account deactivation.

We operate in strict adherence to the IT Act 2000 and its amendments. Any attempt at unauthorized access, data tampering, or hacking activities within the school ecosystem is a punishable offense under Section 66 of the IT Act.

This application and its data practices fully comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies. We are also committed to aligning our practices with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) as it comes into full effect.

The academic and administrative content shared on this platform is the sole property of the respective school management and may not be reproduced or misused in any form.

As a user of the Teacher Portal, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• Right to Deletion: You may request that your personal data be deleted, subject to legal requirements.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You may disable notifications or optional features at any time via device settings.
