A Legacy of Excellence in Education Mahar Children Academy, Sagar, has a rich history of academic excellence and holistic development. Established in October 1954 as a Kindergarten institution, it was founded to cater to the educational needs of service personnel’s children, as no such facility existed in the vicinity at the time. Initially run as Bal Vidyalaya, it was officially registered under the Madhya Pradesh Registration Society Act XXI of 1860 (No. 128, dated 22 March 1956). Over the years, the institution has grown and evolved: 1978: A part of the school was converted into Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Sagar, while the Montessori section was retained and continued as Balak Mandir. Later in 1978: The school expanded to include Class II and was renamed Little Rose Kindergarten School (LRKGS). 1982: Further upgraded to Class V and renamed Mahar Regimental Centre Primary School (MRC PS). 2018: The school was officially separated from Mahar Regiment Public School and renamed Mahar Children Academy (MCA).
At Mahar Children Academy, Sagar, we are committed to delivering a well-rounded, high-quality education that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, and lifelong learning
